Having worked for many companies in the US and Canada, from small enterprises to large multinationals, Steve understands business and how to improve sales and employee performance on many levels. With an open style that blends ‘real world’ applications to traditional teaching, Steve creates a unique atmosphere that inspires and empowers people to reach their full potential in the workplace. Steve has been teaching and consulting at many firms in and around the Osnabrück area since 2010.
Born and raised in Oregon, Greg graduated with a degree in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University. His studies at Oregon State focused on the ever changing communication methods and styles within the digital world. He's adapted this knowledge from his studies and is now utilizing it when teaching business English. Greg is able to teach with varying styles and at different levels. This flexibility allows him to create a classroom environment, that is both engaging and comfortable for students
Christina Haupt is a bilingual expert in both Intercultural Communication and Speech-Language Therapy (SLT). She completed her Masters (MPhil, MSc) and research at the University of Sheffield in England. She has more than 10 years of university teaching in both English & German at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück. Ms Haupt also gives SLT-related and intercultural communications seminars in both languages throughout Europe.
M. Edib Yilmaz holds degrees in Economics (Turkey) and European Politics (Belgium). After his studies he worked for English language newspapers and web media outlets in Turkey and the United States. Edib was selected to the US Department of State's International Visitor and Leadership Program in 2015. In addition to teaching English, Edib is also studying to become a doctor of internal medicine.
Valentyna Rybiak is a multilingual teaching professional from Ukraine. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English. She taught English in Ukraine for over 10 years before leaving Kharkiv due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Valentyna has been teaching for English and Go! since May of 2022. At the same time she is taking intensive German courses, thus proving her exceptional language talents.
Amy Smith-Kriege is originally from Ohio, USA, where she graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She worked as a social worker with various client populations for nearly a decade before relocating to Germany. She is fluent in English and German. After teaching English to children in small groups here in Germany, Amy switched to teaching English to adults at the Hochschule für Polizei und öffentliche Verwaltung Nordrhein-Westfalen (HSPV). As she discovered her enjoyment of teaching adults, she joined the English and Go team.
Forest comes from Los Angeles, where he worked as a public interest lawyer and a teacher. As a law student, he represented asylum seekers from Latin America and wrote papers on asylum law, welfare in immigrant families, and homelessness. In addition to working with English & Go, Forest teaches Law and Cultural Studies courses at University of Münster and University of Osnabrück. In his free time, Forest enjoys cooking (especially Italian food), going to the cinema, and watching professional cycling.
